At home on Gullfaks
Everyone on an offshore platform has a role to play. Together, they form a small, self-contained community where the platform is both a workplace and a home. For this exhibition, 14 people share their stories of work and everyday life on Gullfaks A.
The project grew out of the Norwegian Petroleum Museum’s three-year documentation of the Gullfaks field. It resulted in an exhibition, the Gullfaks Industrial Heritage website, and an expanded collection of photographs and artefacts documenting life on the field.
